Day 13

Packed up and left Mt Barnett Roadhouse. Stocked up on a few supplies and some ice blocks for the day.

Road was a lot better today- almost as good as bitumen. Headed into Bell Gorge which was on the way. Took the short 1km walk into the Gorge - beautiful. Andy and the girls had a swim and I just put my legs in to cool my bites (worked a treat).

Stopped to get fuel at Iminjti - noticed a sign on the door 'Wi-Fi available' - I was so tempted to run in and get my fix but was only a 5 minute stop :(

Arrived at Windjana Gorge about 3pm and setup camp. Wandered down to the gorge on sunset. The freshwater crocodiles sit on top of the water and wait for the bats to come down to the water and snap them up.

Gorge is very beautiful, it's amazing walking through the middle if it.

Got dinner and the girls sorted - two little ones were very tired today so was early to bed. Big girls had some down time with the iPads.

Andy and I got a hot shower for the first time in 6 days and we had flushing toilets - happy days!!!

Heading for Broome tomorrow - can't wait for a bit of civilization oh and some internet
