Lovely breakfast this morning, the best since Easter Island! Nothing can beat good old cereal :D

We were supposed to go on a city walking tour this morning but the guide didn't show up! So some of us just wandered around before going to this market. We thought it would be your traditional market, selling fruit and veg and other things. But no, it was full of meat restaurants! Had some chicken for lunch from there.

We were also meant to go for bike ride after lunch but it was closed due to an emergency! So nothing went to plan!
Montevideo is a quiet city and nearly everything was closed! On a Saturday too! But it's normal here, on a Sunday everything is closed including supermarkets. So there was nothing to do. So had a relaxing afternoon ready for a night out.

Montevideo reminds me a bit of Eastern Europe, especially the buildings and the way some Uruguayan people look.

We went to this restaurant round the corner from our hotel for dinner, it was okay. Ordered sangria but it didn't taste like sangria so it was disappointing!
We were meant to go out for drinks afterwards as it's one girl, Emma's birthday tomorrow but we have to be ready to leave at 6am tomorrow morning for Colonia so we decided to give it a miss and postpone it to tomorrow in Colonia or Monday when we'll be in Buenos Aires.

Looks like there won't be much to do in Colonia tomorrow especially since it's a Sunday but let's see!
