Woke up feeling okay - no hangover, phew!
Had the Thai cooking class. We went to the market to experience what it's like buying fresh food etc. There were live lobsters, crabs and so on. Some disgusting looking chicken feet too!
Went back to the hotel where the cooking class was. It seems we cannot get away from the hotel lol! We had three menus to choose from. Me and Hannah chose the same one, while Pippa chose another one. We learnt how to make each other's dishes anyway.
First off we made spring rolls which was Pippa's starter. So so easy to make and so nice! Will see if I can make it back at home.
Made deep fried prawns for mine and Hannah's starter. Very simple too and nice.
Pippa made Pad Thai with chicken for her main course and wow it was so so nice. Even better than the one I had the other night.
For ours, we made green curry with chicken and it was amazing! Best green curry I've ever tasted too. This has just increased my love for Thai food. I had never been keen on it before this trip.
I was so so full but dessert was to come! Pippa made mango with sticky rice and it was amazing. The rice tasted a bit like rice pudding in a way and so sweet. Matches my sweet tooth!
A shame the same couldn't be said for my dessert. We made red rubies which are water chestnuts dipped in some kind of red sauce and baking powder (I think - not too sure) in coconut milk. First we tried the water chestnuts on its own and it tasted horrible! Put me off! But it did taste a lot better in the end after being mixed with everything. Not as nice as Pippa's dessert though!
Felt so so fat in the end so I went for a very long walk with Pippa to walk it off which helped.
Had a small dinner, yes surprisingly we were peckish later on! Room service for the last time of course!
Off to Hua Hin tomorrow. Got a very long journey ahead of us, about 16 hours! Dreading it!
