Hello again! Thought I would just let you know that Im feeling a lot better now. Dont think i had much chance of feeling shocking in a place as beautiful as this! We watched an amazing fire dance show the other day at our hostel, and it was stunning! The guy was really, really good (thailand eat your heart out!) and it was free too! ;) Today was a beach day, and a very pretty one too! We saw a dolphin (from a distance - not quite the same as kissing them, remember Antigua sis?!) off the shore and there were kite surfers late in the arvo too. Keep meeting lots of people, as many different nationalities as miles there are in oz,it seems! Tomorrow we are heading up to the Surf Carnival in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, which i think will be quite a culture shock after the hippyness of Byron, but good to mix it up a bit! Our time here seems to be flying by all too quickly! Wish i had time to see more of the great Oz - can hear the west coast calling!! I have been really tempted to skydive over the beach, but am trying to hold out til New Zealand, so expect the exciting updates to start then! Dont know that I am making much sense, a bit of a coctail of painkillers (throat/tooth) and sun, so will sign off now... Sunny love... Tx
