We were woken at 6 am after a rather pleasant nights sleep. After a fruit and pancake breakfast we began our 5 hour trek through the amazon jungle. We saw lots of different plants like 400 year old trees, fruit that tasted sweet when we sucked it and even walking trees! We saw lots of animals including more monkeys, 2 cm black ants and even a tarantula! we saw lots of footprints of a jaguar as well! We heard Howler Monkey from approx 1km away which was crazy! ...

We packed an overnight bag ready to spend 2 nights in the AMAZON!! (the main reason I wanted to come to South America) As I was carrying my bags down to reception my hand brushed one of the plastic plants...but it really hurt :(.
