Back in Arequipa for 1 night before we fly to Cusco tomorrow. We tried to see Juanita Mummy but she is in the university lab!

After an interesting 9 hour coach journey overnight, we woke up to the beautiful view of a huge volcano! The air con didn't work on the bus and the windows didn't open and it was unbelievably hot! so I woke up our guide to ask the guard to put it on, but it didn't work, so he opened a mini sun roof. Spent the day catching up on sleep and walking around Arequipa. It's a beautiful town at the foot of 3 volcanoes, the highest being 6,200m. The town itself is 3,200m and find myself occasionally needing an extra breath. Although I haven't felt any earth tremors yet! The weather was hot and sunny in the day, but now the sun has gone down its really cool!
