We were woken at 5.30 after 3 hours sleep!!! (meh) and taken to get our 7 hour bus down to Santiago. I was super tired!!! We somehow managed to get the front seat which I loved as I could put my feet up! I miraculously managed to sleep for the first half of the trip. It was really cold to start with and I needed 2 blankets but when I woke up at our first toilet stop I was boiling!!! They didn't use the air con for the rest of the trip so was boiling! Woke to a manky bread role breakfast (but it was free so I ate it). At 10.30, Amelia, Sas, Sam, Sarah and vince embarked on a 1 hour walk to the beach which was rather further than expected. There was a huge comedy light house at the start of the beach and we walked 10 mins south to a spot where people were actually in the water and sunbathed there for 1 hour. At one point a stray dog came and walked on my towel and it wouldn't shoo away so I hit it with my boo...

16 hour bus journey was more like 17 hours...sat right next to the toilet door that hit me every time someone went in. The smell was rather potent too... I didn't get any sleep (as I can't sleep sitting up) and the sleeping pills made the experience a bit trippy. We arrived at 11am and got taxis to our hotel that smelled of damp. Showered and changed and the 'youngies' took the local bus to McDonald's which was much needed after the last few days of illness! W...

Garth was I'll in the night so I enjoyed breakfast with Amelia. Went to another hotel with a pool. They made us pay 5000 pesos which is just under £7 for a filthy pool that was Greeny/brown and we couldn't see the bottom. It stung grants eyes when he jumped in! Garth stayed in the hotel. Was still recovering so only ate bread and walked to the bank. Managed to keep a burger down in the evening!
