We were woken at 5.30 after 3 hours sleep!!! (meh) and taken to get our 7 hour bus down to Santiago. I was super tired!!! We somehow managed to get the front seat which I loved as I could put my feet up! I miraculously managed to sleep for the first half of the trip. It was really cold to start with and I needed 2 blankets but when I woke up at our first toilet stop I was boiling!!!

They didn't use the air con for the rest of the trip so was boiling! We arrived at our hotel at lunch time and for some reason they wouldn't let us check in until 4:30pm!?! So I enjoyed a nice salad outside with Oli, Sas, Amelia and Michelle. At 4;30 we all rushed to shower after our bus ride! As it was our last night on the tour Hernan organised a big group dinner! At 8pm we walked 12 blocks to an Indian restaurant! It was super expensive! Like £40 for Garth and I - much more than in the UK. So that pretty much guaranteed us going over budget :(

However the food was lovely! We walked back and bought some drinks to play kings cup. We played one game quietly in the social area on floor 2 where no guest rooms are, but this old lady who is something to do with the hotel, very rudely told us to move away and into our rooms...(I don't get the logic as surely moving would be more disturbing for the guests asleep) but anyway we moved to Amelia and Michelles room and did a lot more games! We went to bed about 3 just before Oli chundered everywhere!
