Hi all so this is my berlin entry
We arrived in berlin from prague, and it wasent really a long trip. we stopped in Dreseden to have a look as it had some influence on ww2. Berlin was very busy. The first nigh we saw some of the wall, this peice of the wall was completly souronded by fence so you could see it but not touch it, because after the war they allowed people to cut chunks out of but now its a protected hostorical site,looked after by world heritage ,i think its kinda good that its looked after because then its there to remind us of terror and not to do it again. So on our only full day we did like always a city tour bus which took us to all the main sights berlin has to offer. We first stopped at the west side gallery which is some of the old wall that has been painted over by artist of all nations, the art is really amazing and it express so much i really enjoyed seeing this and i took loads of photos of it to, if you ever go to berlin this is deffintly a place to go. Intresting fact of berlin... there crossing lights arnt your average circle of green and red they have men called amplemen which are at the road crossing check out the photos and you will see what i mean.
We saw the berlin tower , its kinda like our nz sky tower, we also saw the victory tower and of course brandenburg gate, we also saw verious of other intresting things to. I saw charlie check point and had my photo taken with german men dressed as american soilders :)
Well that was our day in berlin, the fellowing day we left berlin but before we did we made our way to the berlin olympic stadium, which was very kewl to see it was very beautiful but very old but good to see as it was hitlers stadium
After the olympic stadium we made our way to potsdam for a quick visit, it was also nice to see potsdam. After potsdam we left that hole area and made our way to kiel for the night which is where i am now, we just haad a very nice dinner at this really intresting place where we also met some nice people, well off to bed and tomorow of to copenhagen denmark that should be kewl :)
