hi all
here is a update of my first 4 days in london england. okay well the day we arrived 31st july we just went for a stroll along oxford circus and that was nice we saw hari krishna they are people who are dressed up similuer to monks and walk up and down the street making music banging on bongos and shackers and singing weird songs, but it wqas very intresting to see. our accomidation is actually really good for a london pub we are staying at the Black Lion Pub, it has a lovely bar/resturant down stairs, and our rooms is actually very lovely set out and clean :), so on the 1st of august was our first full day in London so we decided to get tickets for the big bus tour which is a hop on hop off service,. So firstly we got of at Madame Tussauds, which i must say was very impressive, i saw wax figures of many people from hollywood, to royalty to sporty and musical, as well as the scary. We saw the wax figure of jona lamu which i was happy to see at least a kiwi was waxed for their mueseum felt quiet proud i must say :). we saw many royaltys wax figures they all look so life like, the waxers di a very good job. Then we went through the scary part(well scary for me ) you walk throught tunnels and cages and real people in costume come out and scare you they arnt allowed to touch you THANK GOD! , then it led us to the wax figures of famous murders and bad people and finally the marval superhero section, the hulk, spiderman, hawkeye, and many more, then we made oour way to the 4D movie created at madame tussauds it was superheros saving the secret headqueaters and i must say it has been the most impressive 4D movie i have ever seen very very well done, and then that was it the end of madame tussauds.
from Madame tussauds we went for a lovely meal, and then made our way to the docks to go on a boat ride up the themes to grenwhich, it was a lovely boat ride but it was very hot, i was boiling. grenwhich was very lovely we didnt stay there for very long as dad wanted to catch the next boat so we could see the london bridge open , as it is now not very offten it opens only if you have requieseted it be open, and lucky for us we got to see it open so that was a nice sight to see.In grenwhich we just had a look around a saw a boat and had a drink just relaxed:). After the boat ride we jumped back on the bus and we just stayed on it as it drove to different places, we saw the MI6 head queaters and MI5 and the ICE headquaters, we then headed to Harrods and OH MY GOSH that place is so expensive and riduculous like honestly some of the stuff they were selling was beyond rediculous in the product and in price, mum and me decided to go to the tea house for tea and treats, and it was delicuous so lovely to just lay back with my mumma and drink tea and eat some sweets meanwhile dad was off finding a beer :). AND that was the end of day one , we really crammed in a lot and saw many things, i was so tired but was looking foward to the following day
Day2: well day two started off slow we took the wrong bus and we went the other way than where we wanted to go, but that was fine we saw many parts of london which was nice to see, then we got off at buckingham place, and we saw where the royals lived, unfortuantly for me it was lovely to see but the sparkle that i had seen on tv didnt live up to what i had imagined which kinda saddend me but thats fine at least i have seen where the queen resides and where the new king will one day rule so it was a good experence we then procceded to walk up the mall which leads from the place to trafalger square. From that we went to the london tower, where we were quided by the beefeater who told us the history of the place, it is still a royal place but no one lives there so it was intresting to get to knoe the history and the horrors that accured here, i also learnt that the last person to be held here waas in WW2 a german man was cought and they didnt know what to do with him, they didnt want people to know they had him so he was held there and when the war ended he was sent back to germany, i found it a good place to visit if you are ever in london, you do have the option of just looking arounf yourself but i think a guided from the beefeaters is a better way to go, they all wear funny uniforms to :). also the queens jewls are held there, however the line to go in was bloody massive and when i mean massive i mean massive. Finally we finihsed and we headed to the london eye,Finally after a lonf wait we finally got in it and i was very imprssive the view was amazing and it was just a good way to see over london, and after that we were all so tired
Day3: day three was our chill day did some washing read some mags and papers :), we went to brent cross a big shopping center kinda like bay fair but bigger :) and then we went to the movies that night and saw RED 2 which was absoulty funny such a good movie gotta see it
Day4: naww poor mummy has a cold so dad and me went out for the day to piccadally circus, we walked up SOHO which is londons red light districted, i helped day buy gold shoes and golf balls, we brought a manoply game the london underground edition :), it was a really lovely day just to chill and go out with dad it was honestly such a good day loved it sooo much, then it was dinner time and that was a hoot we had so many laughed mum and dad were actually pretty funny it was good just have a laugh with mum and dad
i really like london, its an amazing city with lots to do and see, its just soooo many people people, its so busy and we constantly hear sirens so something is always going on, but so far i am having a blast with mum and dad. i dont like the london underground system its dirty and small crampted i must honestly pefere the munich underground system, its been a good experense so far happy to be here
