Well, we made it home in one piece!!!! What a wonderful three months. 5,886.3 miles of road and twenty five RV parks. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. We are already planning next year's jaunt. You can't keep a motor homer home!!!!

We visited with old friends and made many new ones. Our girls are like magnets, met so many nice people because of them.

Our last stops were Tucumcari, N.M., just an overnighter. Then off to beautiful Holbrook, Az. Now there is a party town if I have ever seen one!!! And last, but not least, Needles, Ca. It was 112 in Needles, even the scorpions were hanging out in the shade.

We stayed at the Elks Lodge in Needles. We had the place to ourselves. No other campers and when we went into the bar to pay for our spot, it was just us and the bartender. He said he was so happy to see us, he was tired of cleaning!!! He even gave us a free drink, whooppeeeeee!!!!

You know how much we love to travel in Merlin, but it is always a nice feeling to walk into the house. My plants said hello (looked lovely, by the way, thanks to the love and care from Jeanie), the girls could not wait to get to their toys and we were enjoying having a bit more space to move around.

We had so many things to look forward to, reading three months of mail, looking at how brown everything is because of no water and of course, laundry!

We are getting Merlin all cleaned up and will be heading out on September 23, for 12 days at Lake McSwain, up near Merced. We love going there to fish, play in the water, party and Float Fly. We will be exercising the "inflatable yacht" there as well.
