The ceilings particularly at Alhambra were exquisite. There were different patterns in each room. The variety of tile patterns were fascinating too. I just loved them all.

This is part of the inside of the Mesquite Cathedral (Mosque/Cathedral) that we walked through yesterday. We were lucky enough to get tickets to go inside of this building. Very impressive portrayal of the history of this site which began in 532AD!!! (I find it hard to get my head around that.) The influence of the Christians and the Muslims is very clear. We loved just wandering around all the quarters of Cordoba. My fascination with doors has extended to cobb...
