A typical little cafe close to Notre Dame. It will be glorious once spring arrives
We spent the day just wandering around and ended up at the Museum of Natural History. The skeletons in the palaeontology building were enough to give you nightmares!!! An amazing array of bones from all over the world and spanning many 100s of years. The precise calligraphy on the names tag enthralled me too. I would think that many of the tags would have been written many, many years ago too.
I think my 'thing' for Paris has to be the variety of styles and colour of the cafe chairs. Many of the cafes offer sidewalk eating (and drinking). Many of the chairs face towards the road.
The variety and shapes of the dogs and the folk leading them are fascinating to watch too. There are literally 109s of them too.
We eventually caught a bus back to near our hotel and found a cafe that served real French Onion Soup (none of this packet stuff for us!!!!). We were in bed by 8pm, tired and happy little vegimites.

MegMeg Great pic. So very French. Love the way their outward facing chairs are everywhere - people watching French style!
