Straight through journey to Auckland from Paihia except for a quick toilet break on the way. We arrived back into Auckland at 18.45pm and got checked into our hostel Auckland Central Backpackers where we stayed last time. After we had checked in we popped to the shop to get tea chicken risotto tonight which looked really nice but tasted disgusting (That was my opinion Suz didn't think it was too bad but she wouldn't buy it again) the salad was good though. After we had eaten it was straight back on the internet to carry on with the blog as we are determined that it will be finished before we leave to go to Fiji. We then got an early night as we have a far too many nights of partying and decided we could do with a night off.

This morning we were picked up at just gone 10am for our free Auckland day tour. First stop of the day was the Auckland Harbour Bridge where we got to do a free bridge climb, I had decided a few days ago I wanted to do a Bungy jump off the bridge as I really regret not doing it in Queenstown. So as soon as we got there I paid for that so I wouldn't change my mind Suzie was definitely not following in my foot steps she was quite happy to do the bridge climb and the bridge climb only. After we had all got harnessed up we walked along the bridge half way until we got to another set of stairs that took us to the Bungy platform. As I had paid last I was the last one to jump so I had to watch about 10 people jump until it was my go I can't work out if this was a good thing or a bad thing.
Once it was my turn they got the cord attached to my feet and then I had to hop to the edge of the platform by this time my heart was really pounding and for a second I didn't think I could do it, but I as soon as I heard him say 3-2-1 Bungy I jumped because I knew if I didn't go then I wouldn't be able to do it. I loved it was such a great feeling!!!
I was suppose to pull a cord after I had bounced 3 times but I didn't dare pull it incase something went wrong so I was pulled back up upside down and then the blokes at the top pulled it for me and nothing went wrong I am here to tell the tale!!! It was a 40 Metre Bungy so not the highest one out there but Im still very proud of myself for doing it!!! After that we went to a view point to take some pictures before walking back on the other side of the bridge.
From the bridge we drove to a suburb of Auckland called Devonport where we stopped for an hour for lunch and to have a look around the small town. After this we were driven up Mt Victoria where we got 360 degree views of Auckland city which was lovely and the sun had come out too the guide also gave us some more insight into the Maori culture while we were here. It was then back to the city with a Hostel drop off.
This afternoon after we had been to the optometrists to get both of our glasses fixed. We again found are selves on the busy street in New Zealand so again we shopped but mainly for essential things needed for Fiji.
Tonight we are going for a meal since it is our last night and I'm sure we will have to have a few drinks but only cause it's our last night!!! J
We have both loved New Zealand or as the Kiwi's would say "Sweet As Bro" and will be sad to leave the Land of the Big White Cloud behind but we are really looking forward to Fiji and we can't wait to see Dad and Mel!!!
See you all in Fijixxxxxx
