Very kool and well worth taking my big bag so I could stay a night up in the mountains. My tight neighbours schedule meant that I had to plan my trip well so after the day in Sydney I jumped on the train to Katoomba which is about 2hours outside of the city. So got to Byron Bay after my 8 hour trip through past Brissie and surfers. Not bad really! Bryon Bay is really kool, its small enough so you know people but not big enough to get lost in.
