Suzanne and Simon's Travels
Hi every one,
thanks for you messages its great to hear from you all. We have had a really hectic week so far.
On Thursday we did the Neighbours Tour and looked round Melbourne. It was great to see where all the characters live and the church where Charlene and Scott got married.
On friday we went to Philip Island. We hand fed Kangaroos and Simon even started a fight between two huge males as he was trying to feed about ten at once with a small pot of food. We then went to the famous penguin parade and saw the smallest penguins in the world pluck up courage to cross the beach and get to their burrows.
We are now on a tour of the Great Ocean Road so have left Melbourne and are heading to Adalaide. We have seen some fantastic scenery. Today we went to a cool temperate rainforest. This afternoon we saw our first wild Koalas, Kangaroos and Emus. We also saw some South Right Whales jumping out of the sea about 200m off the beach, it was an amazing sight. There was a mother and her calf.
Tomorrow should be exciting as we are going to see some Aborigional people and eat bush tucker. We get to try bush oysters (Kangaroo testicles), Simon is looking forward to it!
We will update you again when we are in Adalaide. Hopefully i will have found somewhere to buy a usb cable so you can see our pictures.
Thake care
love Suzanne and Simon XXX
