Here goes my first blog post bare with me on the rambeling. First day in Sydney was crayyyy I got off the plane and straight onto the train to town hall to which I then got lost which would of been okay if I wasn't lugging my life on my back.. I was comforted however by the scenery of which I mean the men oh Maa god so much talent it's unreal! The temperature Was 28 degrees so it had to be done hit bondi beach, tropical smoothie in hand sun bathing pretty much what dreams are made of! I then attempted to walk half the coastal cliff walk.
Like the idiot I am I decided going out was Deffo a plan of action what jet lag right?! New motto 'I'm here for a good time not a long time' which is pretty much as bad as yolo but hey ho the mantra works... Not before however loosing my subway virginity that's right I come half way across the world to experience a sandwich ha! Had pre drinks in the hostel sampled some 'goon' which is really cheapo gross wine! Then hit the hostel club scary canarys and then some dive of an Irish bar for a little jig! Seriously though this city never sleeps 24 hour everything.. Already so in love with Australia Deffo considering getting a years visa after my other travels.
Day two: hangover, jet lag and cold all in tow I decided to be the ultimate tourist and literally no joke, walk the whole of Sydney ... Think I covered every square mile! First went to dalin harbour which is like a massive twenty times better version of our riverside! Then went to the Chinese garden of friendship which however beautiful it was , was really just me paying ten dolla to look at some shrubs. Following all things oriental I went to china town which to be fair was just food galore made me so hungry! I then decided to save money and walk to Sydney harbour rather than get a bus or train (everything is crazy bloody expensive here.) but in true classic sutts style I'd walked for about 45 mins, sweating like a sumo in a sauna and thought this just doesn't seen right... I'd walked down the right road yes, but the wrong way! So ironically whilst having the lyrics 'take a bus to china town' stuck in my head ( which I should of actually done) I walked back, not only back but continued back across the other side of Sydney to the harbour... Words cannot describe my blisters but I award myself ten Sutton points for effort! It took me another hour and a bit on top of what I'd already walked to get there, unfortunately it was pretty overcast today but still bladdy hot! I then like a mad man walked round the other side of Sydney via the royal botanical gardens, whilst of course playing kendrick Lemah just to add to the ambience ha ! Night in tonight as got to be up for half five in the morning to surfers spot x for some surf lessons pah that's gunna be interesting!
