We got up early, ate a quick breakfast and broke camp. We packed everything back into the mokoros, and ensuring we had left no trace of our stay, we were punted back to the mokoro station. We said goodbye to Nelly who had punted us around for the few days and gave her a tip - she was such a jolly girl.
We took everything out and loaded it all into the speed boats when they arrived. I ended up giving my small tiger umbrella to a little girl, her sister had been given a frog umbrella by one of the other girls so I just couldn't resist! Our speed boat captain was called Costa and he was another jolly person we met. He stopped along the way to show us all the different animals and told lots of jokes making us all laugh!
An hour or so in the speed boat and we were back at our camp site. Another mammoth unload and to and fro from where we were to camp and we were finally officially back into civilisation. We put up our tents and had a delicious pizza lunch from the campsite bar before spending the rest of the afternoon chilling out by the pool with some of the others. The rest of the group had taken an optional flight over the delta to get a different view of the area we spent 2 nights in. I enjoyed a well needed hot shower and then sent some e-mails before we had tea at the truck.
