I took the Venetian shuttle back to the Macau ferry terminal. There I caught the Hotel Royal shuttle to the hotel Royal which is on the Macau peninsula. The whole journey took less than 2 hours from leaving the Venetian to the Royal. I took the train about 10 minutes walk away from my hotel and then had to change to another line to get to the Macau ferry terminal in HK. Ferried run every 15 minutes and cost about HKD159 or HKD149 depending in direction of travel. It's an extra HKD35 for checking in luggage which most I realized most other people did not do.
