This morning we had another sleep in, time for some breakfast and a bit of relaxing and ready by 12pm to jump in the vans and head to the Trenches. Unfortunately for the Adams' and the Chamberlian's, we lucked out on the van we got and ended up in a very dodgy vehicle, with a driver who couldn't speak English and a recliner chair as we called it, every time the van moved the seat moved with it, making it an uncomfortable ride for those lucky enough to get that seat.
The trench was amazing, looked just like it did in the photos, though it had a nice strong current that made it for some fun. Matt and Richard thought they should have tried to swim out to sea - even though you couldn't see through the entrance.
After a nice swim in the trench, we had a fish and chip lunch looking over the beach - we couldn't tell the difference between the chicken and the fish, and two very tiny cats were desperate for some food.
On the way back to the resort we made a stop at one of the other resorts for a look around, we decided we were happy with where we were staying.
The drive to and from the Trenches was nice, a good way to see the living of the Samoan's, their culture, and their home and villages.
When we made it back to the resort we had more time to relax, swim, drink and have fun before dinner in the restaurant, followed by a few more drinks before heading to bed.
