After 3 days in Dallas we're on the road. Deciding to give Houston a miss as other than the space stuff it looks like just another city, we'll do the space thing when we hit Cape Canaveral. Today was a relaxing day doing very little. We headed to the Dallas Farmers Market which had some seriously fresh fruit and veg at excellent prices so we stocked up. We checked out a local marine store which stocked a lot of Aussie corals and fish at prices that surprised us. We started the day off by heading to the car rental place & picked up our car for the next 7 weeks, a Mazda 6 which so far is a great ride. Next stop was Target to buy a GPS complete with very cool bean bag kind of thing to mount it on so no need to attach it to the dash, just lift it on & off. A really huge day and our last full one in California. Up very early to leave by 6am to hook up with our tour bus at the BART. Full bus with d*** in the seat in front of us far more important than us so they had their chairs fully reclined the whole way meaning we had a full 3" between our seat & theirs grrrrr If that wasn't bad enough she looked & sounded like Phyllis Diller, hardly drawing breath the whole day.
