Now we know how ultra marathoners feel, we walked for miles including 5million stairs in the Louvre. Saw all the major artworks, its like a rabbit warren. In the Mona Lisa room it was shoulder to shoulder with some ethnic groups a lot more forcefull in their pursuit of the best spot, yes the Asians. I had a bulky pack bag on and by twirling around occasionally I was able to clear a space! We emerged into the sunlight with the aim of visiting the Tour Eiffel so we hopped on the hop off bus. The queues were very long so we took a few photos and had a hotdog, meanwhile it started to rain so everyone made a beeline for the bus. I did an Asian and made a forcefull entrance through the exit door meanwhile being shouted at by the driver, I returned fire with a "b***** that mate" in as broad an Aussie accent as I could manage, seems the Aussies have a reputation for aggression which is usefull at times!! Back in town we stopped for our usual aperitifs at our usual watering hole then had yet another delicious meal at one of the many cafes near the hotel. And so to bed knackered again!!
