Oh Ghost Writer aka Nutts aka Dong King aka King Dong, why oh why didn't we squeeze into your rucksack?? So glad you're enjoying your visit, and thank you so much for saying that Dan and Sue are looking so well and so obviously relaxing through their trip - we knew they would, but it's lovely to have that fact confirmed. Viet Nam sounds a marvellous place, hope you all make the most of it. And hope we meet up one day, which I guess we will, at the wedding if not before! We're looking forward to our visit with John and Bernadette on Royal Wedding weekend, and we'll have a lovely nose around parts of Scotland when we're there. Lots of love to you all xx

by the time you read this young Nutts will be safely with you seasoned travellers and tucking into some snake wine or some other delicacy (v random!). 22,000 miles and counting - amazing. Loving the latest blog - Belly
PS - Asda has also started doing exotic wines, called Buckfast or something similar.

Sue, isn't it great that we are all getting to know each other! any chance we can all meet up when you're back?
We're off to see your parents at Royal Wedding Weekend, looking forward to that a lot.
Meanwhile the sun's shining, we've been sitting out and it's fabulous.
Looking forward to talking to you both again soon and enjoy your time with Nutts (no, sadly, we won't be squeezing into his rucksack) xx

Just read your blog from Cambodia. In the penultimate para you mention that dissidents were sent to the killing fields to be executed with spades, hoes or any other instrument to hand and then add "Harrowing stuff". Was the pun intended?
Sue
Loving the fact that our travel blog has turned into a random comedy chat room! Glad you are all getting so well aquainted in our absence. Keep smiling. Miss you all. xxx

Good luck Nutts with your travels. Enjoy the sites, sounds and trivia. Nutts, could you perhaps go the opposite end of the hair cutting spectrum to Dan - how about you come back with dreadlocks? All looking and sounding great guys. The sun is shining in Southampton and yes you guess right Marion, I am off to Asda shortly - feeling lucky today might buy some cheap sun tan lotion :)
Nutts
Les & Ro, more than welcome to try and squeeze into the rucksack. I have so many medical supplies now I feel like I am some kind of drugs mule anyway!!! Just had a second Rabies jab, if you want a set of expensive and rather ineffective innoculations try Rabies jabs at £50 a needle. It gives you only 60 to 70% protection and only lasts for 5 months - bargain!! I knew I shouldn't have caved in to the charms of the Dutch lady!! So happy travellers will see you in a mere 5 sleeps time and I feel very honoured to be spending some time with the castaways in Nam. Belly I will do my best with 'dong' based trivia and general tat and Mummy Speirs I shall miss your parcels, can you send me something whilst I'm away just to keep the flat owner neighbours guessing what I've been trading from North of the Border!!

That fish foot massage sounds gross and the photo confirmed my thoughts on reading your blog. Sounds like you are having a great time. Love reading your updates while having lunch (though todays lunch was slightly ruined with the fish foot photo!!). You are going to love Vietnam, especially the North. Happy and safe travels

*your not you're - gosh wish I could type....and spell.....maybe they have a special offer on dictionaries at Asda???
