Going home is rejuvenating and refreshing for me.
Mum and Dad took me to Peppers Sands for dinner. Amazing food and the view is to die for.
Dad also took mum and I out for a day on the water. We visited Whitehaven and my favourite little coral island as well as a few others. It was a stunning day full of swimming, eating and relaxing. Feeling the sun on my bare shoulders and floating in the ocean - nothing beats it!
After DC and I broke up, life has actually been great! I feel free and more alive. People keep telling me that I look taller and happier. It's awesome.
On the day of my accident Rotor Out were training at Bridgy and I met GN for the third time I think. I spoke to him briefly before I drove myself back to Melbourne. He is very down to earth. I like him :) Since then I have heard from him a few times, just checking in to see how I am. Over Christmas and since being single I have heard from him more regularly. During this trip home, I have actually been up late most nights waiting for his messages. His messages are funny, honest and sometimes naughty. We are talking about catching up soon to hang out. Problem is that he lives in Sydney...
Leaving home was hard, my parents aren't getting any younger. I really enjoyed my stay but I am looking forward to my next adventure - road tripping up to Moruya with Lil and welcoming 2013 with open arms.
