We had a great flight to Jordan with Royal Jordanian Air, especially after stuffing ourselves in the business lounge at Istanbul airport. Arrived at our 4 star + hotel room in Amman to find that Chewbacca had stayed the night as there was hair in the bathroom and throughout the bed (type unknown as we didn't conduct that close an inspection) and dust thicker than Ivana Trumps' foundation on the furniture. So, hotel inspector Matarrelli to the rescue! With a quick call to the hotel shift manager we received; a free upgrade to a junior suite; free bowl of fruit; free bottled water; complimentary dinner with wine including the most attentive service since the abolition of slavery. (Note for Fabien: Maria says this is Cairo take 2!!). What a wonderful trip this is turning out to be...round the world in junior suites and free dinner - well we've got to make up for the laundry expense somehow!
