No photos up for chengdu yet so this is one of stevo in Xian...anyhow Chengdu had the gorgeous pandas!!!Saw loads of them and the wee baby ones were so so cute, we also saw two of them getting it on...was funny. Chengdu was a great place, less people and lovely wide streets...went for an indian meal for a change and it was one of the best we've had. Arrived after our hard seat experience ouch!!!People around us on the train were fab, especially a wee drunk china man who loved stephen to bits!!!Xian is lovely, less busy than the big cities...visited the terracotta warriors and few museums. Warriors were very interesting!!Also enjoyed a dumpling banquet!!!Xian had the best market we have been too...hangling went well...managed to get four sets of chopsticks for just two pounds!!!Woohoo

Arrived safe and well in Beijing, hostel class. Went to the great wall on the second day and was forced into buyng a t-shirt as you can see from the photos. Wall was amazing and ziplined the last km across the lake to the base camp. Great day out although 30 degrees and a 10km climb but well worth it. Hello again arrived in Hangzhou on friday after a plesent 2 hour train journey, hostel is small but lovely rooms. Dumped our bags and went looking grub christopher columbus was navigating so took a while but eventually got to one of the best restaurants in china although no one could speak english, just about to leave when a big chinese american came over and was able to translate thank god.
