Arrived safe and well in Beijing, hostel class. Went to the great wall on the second day and was forced into buyng a t-shirt as you can see from the photos. Wall was amazing and ziplined the last km across the lake to the base camp. Great day out although 30 degrees and a 10km climb but well worth it. On the third day we went to the fobidden city for the day and went to the food courts for dinner which was a bit sick as they were eating everything from squid to pupies. On the fourth day we went to the summer palace and a temple on the last day. We missed our train to pingyou by literatly one minute we had to check in by 18.17 and got there at 18.18 bit pissed of but kicked up a bit of a stink so got our money back for the train and managed to book one the next day to XI'AN although 12 hours on a hard seat so woopee
