Uncharted territories, and now residing in our old stomping ground however this is a first with our transient home and the furthest we have travelled thus far with it.
A couple of hiccups along the way, peppered with the odd idiotic driver (who would have thought) but arrived safely nonetheless. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful country.
All set up at the NZMCA site for 5 nights on the outskirts of Taupō, sandwiched between the Racing Club and Motorsport Park. Fairly quiet setting and not too busy. Bit of a bummer finding out a marque has been set up further up the road (within sight) where the Auckland gunman was found dead. Looks like a tangi is going to be held there.
Sophie had a great time yesterday at the lake side, running up and down in the water. Visited some old friends in the afternoon.
Couple of frosty mornings but beautiful days afterwards. Had frozen water in Sophie’s bowl and frozen drip on the outside tap one morning
