Day Fifteen, At sea.

Woke up to another beautiful day, and another opportunity to relax on the ship and make the most of what it has to offer. After breakfast, we made our way to one of the three pools, grabbed some sun beds and settled in for the day. Headphones on listening to music, reading books and drinking cocktails. What else could you ask for.

We sat in one of the spa's and watched the crew (in uniform) play a pool volleyball game. Lots of fun had by all.

Mid afternoon headed back to room for a sleep as we were so exhausted from doing nothing, and to get ready for dinner later that evening.

We went to a specialty Italian restaurant which is located at the stern (back) of the ship and watched as we entered the Strait of Messina which separates mainland Italy from Sicily. A great experience eating in an Italian restaurant just of the coast of Italy. Dolphins jumping and surfing the waves created by the ship just topped it off.

After dinner we went up to the lawn area and watched as we sailed through the Strait of Messina. We then went for a walk to the front of the ship to the Sky Observation Lounge and had a drink. It was approaching 10pm and we headed back to the room as we have to be up at 7am tomorrow. We will be as we sailing into Salerno on the Amalfi Coast and have a tour of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.

All in all a very relaxing day.
