What a nightmare of a border crossing!!!!!! We all had a visa waiver, but guess what??? When we arrived they had conveniently lost our waiver. We had to get the manager of our camp to drive to the border with the photocopy. Guess what after 3 hours they had decided a photocopy wasn't valid!!! Hmmm making the rules as they go. In the end we all had to pay, some it was $25 for Brits it was $60!!!! No price lists, just lining the border guys pockets. Wow I was angry that night. We travelled through Zambia to the capital Lusaka. It was another long days drive in the 40 degree heat. The following day we made it to Livingstone where we had a booze cruise/game viewing on the Zambezi. If only we had got there a day earlier as it was 150 years celerations from when David Livingstone first caught sight of Victoria Falls. We are off there tomorrow... We had a wicked night, even had a club to ourselves, pics to follow. Next we're off to Zimbabwe where Brits get hammered at the border again! Our stay there is packed with adrenalin filled activities. Whooohooo.
