Greenoch SA. 12/3/15

This was some drive today through interesting grain country and chose GolGol for a break where we enjoyed lunch and a wine on the banks of the Murray River. The quaint little township of Greenoch at the northern end of the Barossa Valley was our overnight stop. As we crossed into SA we approached many historic townships still with original stone buildings and cottage gardens. Our stay at the free Showgrounds campsite was an education on how backpackers survive travelling in our country - ie little respect for the grounds, community and fellow campers hence, a council rep soon moved them out the following morning.
