Manbulloo Station 1/8/15 It was quite a scenic drive from Timber Creek through to Victoria River Roadhouse, following the Victoria Highway and passing through the Stokes Ranges, typical of Sandstone escarpments we have previously seen. Timber Creek 29/7/15 We chose to base ourselves at a roadside park to access surroundings of Timber Creek and Gregory NP. A large boab tree still stands by the Victoria River with the explorer Augustus Gregory's inscription of arrival dates into the area. That makes the tree well over one hundred and fifty years old.
