After our really fantastic time in the rainforest with Sergio we returned to Leticia for the third time. Not much to report other than I (Steve) took my first motrobike ride today. We were standing around waiting for a cab to the airport and there hadn´t been any, seeing one in the distance we waved for it but it turned right before reaching us. However, having stuck our hands out two motorbikes pulled over, there are more motorbike taxis than car ones in Colombia, so on we hopped for the short ride to the airport. Luckily we didn´t have our bid rucksacks which would have probably tipped the bikes over, that said we did overtake a woman on the back of a bike carrying a bed. You also often see families of four on their motorbikes with the kids asleep between mum and dad, back home you´d probably get arrested but over here it is just the way things are.

Really glad that we decided to come down to Leticia, it has been a great experience and one that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Colombia.
