Day 13

We arrived in Phuket on the 13th after a one and a half hour ferry ride and a eight hour bus ride from Koh Samui. We jumped of bus and was approaches by loads of taxi men, obviously we went for the cheapest. when we got in the car we realised it wasn't a proper taxi....... don't worry we got there safely!! We stayed in Patoong Beach and found a nice hotel, it was about the 5th hotel we looked at but again it was the cheapest so we went for that one!! Plus we had been carrying our backpacks around for ages by this time so as long as it was clean we were happy!

As soon as we got in the hotel we showered as it was really humid. That night we went for a walk around and found a really nice restaurant to eat in, to be fair it was the best meal i have had yet. (But mum i really want a home cooked meal). Phuket was a lot like Bangkok, Koh San Road, very busy and people hassling you on the streets all the time. Claire was getting really annoyed by this. We found a t-shirt that said ' No i don't want a f***ing Tuk Tuk, Taki or suit Thank you very Much. We were sooooo tempted to by one each and wear it for the two days we were there!!

After our meal we decieced to have an early night with book club so we could get up the next day bright and early for sun bathing on the beach! Altough on the way back home we got lost and couldn't find our hotel, we asked people but they could'nt understand us!! We eventually found it after about 40mins!

Day 14

So today we got up really early and went to the beach, it was a little overcast but thought we would still catch the sun through it!! About lunch time the heavens opened so we went for lunch and decided to go and do abit of shopping!! We also checked out how much the Thai boxing was but it was really expensive so we gave it a miss!! While we were shopping we found a bowling alley so that was the plan of action for tonight.

After our meal we went bowling, it was great fun to be doing something different. The first game i was rubbish i came last, but then the 2nd game there was competition between me and Claire, unfortunetly she beat me by 5points!! Was tense i tell u but loads of FUN!
