Day 15

We arrived in Koh Phi Phi about 2pm after a boat ride from Phuket. The boat ride was very good, was very hot so we all sunbathed on the top whilst having a little book club too!! When we got to Phi Phi we walked around for about 15mins trying to find hotel, we looked at a few but were put off immediatly as they only had fan rooms..... we definetly wanted air-con!! This was one luxury we wanted, as well as a swimming pool but that didn't matter too much!! We then came across P.P Princess, its was really nice, it had a pool and was a 2min walk to the beach!! It came at a price though, it was 600 Baht more then we had been paying, but Claire did her haggling as normal and managed to get it a little cheaper!! The room was really nice and the beach was amazing, we didn't need the swimming pool, the sea was like the pool. It also had a really good bar and beach side restaurant!! We were defineltly set up for the next 3days!!

Phi Phi so far has got to be the best Island , closely followed by Koh Samui. The sites and views were amazing!! We were so lucky to be here!

That night we decided to get our bearings, do a bit of shopping and plan the next few resaurants we were eating in!! So we went for food early on and came back early and watched the Holiday on Tv!! We wanted to get up early for sunbathing and prepare ourselves for drinking on Sunday for the football.... come on you reds!!

Day 16

So its Sunday and we were ready for a day of sunbathing, we had the day worked out, early breakfast, sunbathing then early meal at a bar on the beach.... followed by football!! Sorted!!

After a nice breakfast on the beach it was down to hard core sunbathing!! The tide was in so everytime it got unbearable we had to walk out a long way to sit in the sea!! It really was an amazing view, i was so happy to be there after Phuket!! Today was soooo hot we had to keep deeping in and out of the sea, it was lovely!! At about 4pm the sun had gone in so me and Loz decided it was beer o'clock. We left Claire reading her book while we went for a few beers to place we were going for dinner!! It was sooo nice to have a refreshing lager it really was!! After we had had a couple Claire came and joined us, at this point as well it had started to rain a little!! We settled down to a nice meal and few drinks!! Me and Claire ordered Tuna, it came out raw (apparently thats how they eat it!) so we sent it back and they cooked it properly!! While we were eating we got speaking to the owner of the bar, he survice the Tsunami, he was telling us all about it, it was frighting. He had written a book about it all so we all brought one. You could tell Phi Phi were still recovering from it.

After food we went and watched the football.......... and to Loz's dissapointment they lost, she was gutted and u can imagine what Claire was like!!! So Loz had to do a Icepedo!! When the Football had finished we went to a bar that had a boxing ring in it!! It was mad, we turned up and there was a Swedish Guy and American guy (i think) properly fighting. We just thought it would be a laugh! After this two Ameteur Thai guys were fighting, it was crazy they were so fast and it looked painful. We have got videos and photos...it was mad!

Day 17

Today we booked a trip around all of the samll islands in Phi Phi. The trip was 9am-7pm, so a long day!! When we got on the boat it was abit choppy but not half as bad as some of the others we had been on!! The first island we stopped off at was Maya Bay, this was where the Beach was filmed. It looked amazing, golden sands. We stopped off quite away from there and had the choose to Kayak over there.....we thought why not, it looked beautiful!! So the 3 of us got on a Kayak, Loz and Claire wanted to paddle so i just sat in the middle relaxing!! Its was really nice!! We were the first to get our Kayak and the last to get to the Beach-typical!! When we finally got there it was lovely, we didn't risk taking our camera just incase it got wet........ and its a good job we didnt cause on the way back to the boat the wind had got up and we wern't moving anywhere! We got taking to these Australian guys so we tried to get Rob and other guy (can't say his name) to tow us, it worked for a bit but slowly we were going off course, it was well funny! In the end they left us to it at got back to the boat!! We were now the last ones on the Kayak and the boat looked as if they were going to the next island without us! It wasn't i might add, it was trying to get closer to us!! At this point Claire decided to try and save the day and get off the Kayak and tried to pull us near the boat!! She was swimming and pulling us, head going under and everything but it wasn't working the current was too strong! When they realised Claire was off the Kayak they sent a guy off the boat to rescue her and then for me and Loz to get back ourselves!! Eventually we got back, it was much easier with just the two of us on there as we didnt have the weight of Claires head and boobs on there! We got an clap when we got back on!!

After our adventures at the Beach Island we went to Monkey Island! Loz, Claire and the Australian guys (except Rob) snorkled over to the beach, apparently they saw loads of big fish including a neddle fish, i wish i liked doing it!! But no...... me and Rob, well saying that Rob Kayaked us both over there! Again the beach was lovely. We saw a few Monkeys, they were cool. Claire was taking a picture of one of them and he got angry and glared at her in the eyes and started to come towards her, as u can imagine she ran!! We got some really good photos as you will see!! When we returned to the boat a load of lads were jumping off the side of the boat, they were backing flipping and everything was really good! Then everyone ws egging one lad to go to the top of the boat and back flip off the side...... we were like its an accident waiting to happen but he did it and it was wkd!! Got it all on vidoe!! Loz also jumped in but don't worry not off the top!! She forgot to hold her nose....... she cleared her body out with salt water!!

Bamboo Island was next, we could only do Snorkling here so Claire went and swam to the beach, loz just went for a dip and i sunbathed and relaxed! It was soooo hot! Claire thought she was going to die on the way back as the waves were really big and water keep going in her snorkal, she made it back though!!!

After Bamboo Island, the next place to go was to go watch the sunset. We dopped people off who didnt want to go and watch it. By this time i was feeling a little dodgy, just think cause we had been on it so long, it was 4.30pm so we had been on it hours. But i decided i wanted to see the sunset. We stopped off in the middle of the sea and waited and waited, it was going to take ages for the sunset, so he turned back in the end and we got back to our hotelk at 6.30pm, was abit of a let down!!

That night we went for a meal, me and loz were feeling dodgy, felt like we were still on the boat. We went to a really nice sea food restaurant overlooking the beach, it was lovely. When my food came out though i hardly eat anything i felt really ill. That night we were meant to go and meet our friends off the boat including the West Midland girls. But we were all just so tired so decided to go and have an early night!

Day 18

I wasn't looking forward to this day at all, a day of travelling! Joy! We had till 2.30pm to kill so we went and did some more shopping and went for lunch at 007 bar. The food was really good there! Finally 2pm arrived and we went to get the boat to take us back to Phuket. The boat journey was fine i fall a sleep downstairs. We didn't want to be in the sun as thought we had had too much day before. The boat trip was an hour and half long. We then had an hour to kill in Phuket so we went for more food! (Diet starts in Aus!!) We then got the bus at 6pm, we opted for the cheaper bus which was a 36 seater, wasn't as comfortable as the last one we went on but it was ok! We finally made Bangkok at 6am the following Morning, was one hell of a journey!

Day 19

Went straight to bed when got to Bangkok, and then just chilled all day! I am really looking forward to getting on the plane now to go to Aus, its going to be amazing!

So the next time i update we will be in Sydney!! :-)
