Day 1

We arrived safely in Australia at 6.30am after a flight from Bangkok! The fight went really fast concidering it was 10hours! We watched movies and Tv programmes (although Claire's screen didn't work, she wasn't impressed) and took advantage of the free bar and played some drinking games! When we got of the plane it was 21degrees, we were sooooo excited to actually be in Australia!

After going through passport control we then had to go and get our bags xrayed. Mine and Claires went through fine, but the stopped Loz. They got her to empty parts of her backpack out on the desk. They thought she had food on there!! Bles her she was really embrassed!! Everyone thought we were a team as we had out travelling t-shirts on, was quite amusing!!!

After finally getting through ok, Dale (Cliare's friend from camp) was there to meet us. Claire was so excited to see him as she hadn't seen him for a year and a half. We were staying at Dales in Gosford for a few days until going to stay at his Aunties house in Syndey. Dale decided to take us the scentic route back to his house going over the Harbour Bridge seeing all the sights like the Opera House. It was amazing!

After 2hours of driving we got to his house and freshened up. His house is really nice, its like being in Neighbours it really is. He was really enthusistic to take us out and show us sites.

The first place he took us was Warrah Lookout. We had to walk 500metres to get there in 30degrees of heat. Was quite a struggle after bot having any sllep in 24hours but it was wirth it when we got there. The view was amazing, we could see Palm Beach (where Summer Bay is), Patonga, Hawksbury River and Baronjoey Lighthouse. It was definetly a camera moment!!!

After here we went to Marie Bykes Lookout which is the scenic Highway above Kilcare beach. On a clear day you are supposed to be able to see Syndey. We could judt make it out but wasn't clear. Was definelty still worth the vist again the view was just out if this world, don't worry we got photos!!

After all the walking and used used to the heat, we decided to go for a Milkshake. We went to Cococabana to have a dink in a Cafe right next to the beach. After chilling out chatting for a bit we then went for a stroll along the beach. It was lovely. The sea was freezing though, was putting Loz off the surfing a little bit!! We just had a short walk and watched people surfing and body boarding.

As you can imagine we were all so tired now after not sleeping for 24hours. So we went and brought some food and got a DVD out to watch. It was soooo nice to have homemade food and just chill out in the settee. After the DVD it was 9.30pm...... we went straight to bed!!

Day 2

So today we felt more alive to say the least. We had a good night sleep and Loz and Claire were excited to be taught Surfing by Dale. Unfortunetly there ad been really bad rain during the night and storms were expected so Dale decided to take us to the Repile Park instead. This was cool, and the guy presenting the shows was so funny. We saw Kanagroos, Crocodiles, Aligators, snakes etc. Pictures are really good! After here we went shopping to a huge shopping centre. After dragging Dale around some shops and buying some clothes we then went back to his to prepare for a house party he had organised!! All im going to say is the Party was really good finishing up at 5.30am this morning!!

Day 3

So today im feelng a little hungover!! Its a really clear day and the boys have gone surfing leaving us girlies to relax for abit!! Today were just chilling, might go and do some more shopping! And then were heading off to Dales Aunties House tonight or tomrrow, ready for Christmas! (Will be weird just the 3 of us)

Right then i will update soon.............. everyone have a lovely Christmas and a great New Year! (wanna be home for Christmas day :-( )
