After a hectic schedule in Bangkok we all needed time and space to relax a bit after all that ping pong! - So me Rami, Anne and Hazel said goodbye to Chai, Frauke, Katharina, Ben and Jo and headed south on the twelve hour train and our first stop was Kao Sok national park in Surat Thani. We stayed again in little wooden huts on stilts, although these were slightly better than the ones in the northern villages and provided a little more luxury - we actually had toilets! Get in! ... Aye so we went for another trek and that was cool, we saw little streams and loads of bamboo - it wa nice!

... but quiet - so we hopped on a boat and went to our first island, Koh Samui! Wow! I thought PatPong in Bangkok wa bad for lady boys and seedy bars! This was something else! I dint know where to look! Honestly! Every bar you try to walk past, loads of girls wearing nowt throw themselves at you trying to get you in to their bar so they can fleece ya. But, you know, we got thirsty ... so we had to go to atleast one bar! The entertainment was very funny and we were sat at the bar playing connect four with the girls behind the bar and everytime you win you get a drink - but you never did, and when you lost you had to buy them a drink - I'm sooo skint!!

So that was cool but very touristy. So after a day or two we hopped on another boat to Koh Tao! These boat journeys were gorgeous by the way, the sea is beautiful here! Anne decided she would stay at Samui so that left just me, Rami and Hazel and our guide Gift. But we did meet up again for one night with Katharina and Frauke before they left to go to Koh Pangyang. Koh Tao is a very small island in comparison to Samui and Pangyang but the beach here was stunning! An absolutely great way to just chill - and that's literally what I've been doing for the last few days it's been gorgeous - but hot! Oh yeh, I burnt my face! The first day I left my sunglasses on and fell asleep on the beach so I looked like an abolute tit - now I'm just peeling and look like an old wrinkled flakey tit! I've had a few massages to make me feel better though!

We've had some great nights on the islands, even did karaoke in a private room - its not the same though! Anyway, our last night was no exception, after a great meal and great drinking we ended up in the sea and had a splash! Now, after another train journey I'm back in Bangkok for a few days before I fly to Singapore! Can't wait!
