Lazy morning and a bit of shopping at the market before catching a ferry to Hvar which is an island about an hour away. John and Libby were waiting for us with their beautiful boat. We all got on board and went sailing (mainly powered as no wind) around the island stopping for a few swims - MAGNIFICENT. Up early and had coffee on the promenade to wait for the Banks family to show them to the hotel. Went wandering around in the morning then Dave hired an old van and 10 of us went to a national park (krka) with waterfalls and had a swim, it was fantastic, well worth the drive as was about 80 km away. All met up for dinner about 18 of us now.

Arrived in Split after two relaxing days with Chrissie and Rick, although the champagne and wine took a bashing on Sunday. Somehow we managed to find our hotel here in Split and what a view from the window! We face out to the Harbour and the Adriatic beyond. Spent most of the day organising bags to take to Croatia and what to leave behind. Walked up to Bakers Arms for lunch and a pint and then went for a stroll around Stock. When Chrissie got home we went to a lovely pub The Windmill for dinner near the reservoir .

Had above brekky at a cafe near Kim and Wombat's and then off to catch to train to Billericay, although finished up going to Shenfield on instructions from Chrissie. Naturally they were waiting with copious amounts of alcohol and Rick even opened a bottle Noir to mark the occasion of our arrival. Had a great afternoon/evening and watched England get beaten in euro soccer.
