First full day with Chrissie and Rick, had a great surprise when they took us for lunch with Richie and Caroline to the Chateau du Mesuriers. Beautiful French cuisine on the terrace. Outside the chateau with great view of the river Lot. Fantastic french cuisine, this is living the life. Really can't say too much other than what the photos show. Had apertif's with Chrissie and Ricks neighbours who are French, wonderful evening with lots of wine and tasty munchers...

Very early morning as had to catch 6am bus to airport for flight to Geneva. Sitting at Geneva airport brought back memories of 30 years ago as we didn't want to get too many Swiss francs so just changed left over Croatian money, only leaving us enough for a sandwich and a shared drink. Actually got up early today to have brekky with the Banks family before they left. Walked to the bus with them to say farewell. We're planning to take ferry to Trogir for the day but being Sunday there were none going. Went to town beach instead for a while but too hot to stay in the sun for too long. Nothing in the morning as didn't get out of bed till very very late not feeling very well. Ran into Sam, Charlotte and George so all went to the beach together. Poor Charlotte was very unwell so made me feel better. Caught bus to beach and had a swim, rocks everywhere that really hurt my soft feet. All met up again back in town and went out for dinner as most people leaving in the morning. A very quiet day after last night.

Yet another lazy morning as a bit too hot to walk for any length of time. Sorted out bus for Monday and just went from cafe to cafe all day drinking lemona, a lovely refreshing lemon drink.
