Hello again...

Am now writing from the beautiful island of Phuket back in Thailand. We are staying in the luxurious Karonburi resort on Karon beach, south of Patong. Landed on our feet with a last minute airport deal and it is pretty sweet! Pool is great and we have a huge room and balcony with sea view- oh yes, living it up!!

In our defence, we felt it was well deserved. Having spent the last week travelling from Siagon through Cambodia and surviving to tell the tale! We started off in the capital city of Phnom Pehn, a lakeside shack and a LOT of rain. "Magic" pizza though! Next a whistlestop journey to the Southern coast to Shihanoukville (gorgeous beach- TERRIBLE accomodation) and back. Then northwards through gorgeous Mekong flooded countryside to Siem Riep, the smaller city close to the ruins of Angkor. After a day exploring these amazing sites, again back on the road headed to Stephen's favourite Bangkok! Another night near Khao san and we flew down to the beach! And here we are!!

So much to tell, but to be honest it's just too nice and I can't be bothered staying indoors too long (unless in our plush surroundings at Karonburi!).

We are next heading by ferry to Ko Phi phi tomorrow...got a bungalow booked and looking forward to trying some diving! Very excited...
