Jo couldn't wait for our trip here having heard that the zoo was one of the best in the world and had the Pandas had just had a baby. The Pandas were wonderfull but unfortunately the babies were not on display, so we made do with video and pictures - so cute !!!!

We also visited a couple of museums whilst in Balboa Park - the Aerospace Museum (space ships and moon rock) and the Natural History Museum (dinosaur bones etc...) and listened to some music at the organ theatre.

Down on the waterfront was the USS Midway, the longest serving aircraft carrier in the US Navy. The tour was brilliant and took us nearly 4 hours (Jo has to read every bit of info)
