Warkworth is about an hour north of Auckland, we were heading to the bay of Islands and this was a convenient stop off on the way. It turned out to be a cute little town, we stayed in the local pub which ALWAYS seems to pay off! at about 11pm, the fire alarm sounded, so we duly presented ourselves outside at the fire assembly point. It was quite eerie, as the pub was closed and all the staff had gone home. Then another couple arrived, they where the only other guests. The alarm kept on going, there didn't appear to be a fire, and eventually a man turned up and turned it off and we went back to bed. It went off 3 more times! I have been suffering from insomnia for the last couple of weeks so it didnt bother me as much as Stephen.

I watched the whole of the Oscars live, Helen Mirren rocked!

We went to Goat island Marine Park the next day, which is very pretty, we went on a glass bottom boat trip aroung the island, although visability was poor and we only saw 10 fish! we are really looking forward to doing some more diving in Rarotonga or Fiji.
