Yesterday we left Ubud at around 12. We had to walk to the shuttle bus station and it was absolutely chucking it down. The walk was about 5 mins and we got drenched lol! The hotel in Kuta is really nice and we are going to have a nice week of luxury. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, pool bar, games room (pool table, table tennis, and darts) We took a walk to find somewhere for dinner and walked along the beach front. Found Macdonalds, which was nice. Spotted a Pizza Hut down the road, so that could be dinner another day lol! The beach was really nice, but the tide was quite far up and the sea a bit rough because of the rain, so we didnt go for a swim. We wandered around the shops here, every shop owner grabs you and tries to make you look around. But the shops are quite cool, but we have no money to buy anything so just window shopping for us lol. Got soaked walking back to the hotel because it decided to chuck it down again, the only problem was, that we were quite far away and we couldnt remember which street our hotel was down, so it took us ages to get back. By that time we were soaking wet lol. We had to have tea in the hotel restaurant because it was to wet to go out. I hope it doesnt rain tonight because it was so expensive, but was really nice. We woke up today to find out that it was raining yay! Went down for breakfast and had bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes and muffins with lovely orange juice! had a game of pool which took forever lol and then played table tennis (Steven doesn't play nicely). Went back to the room and tried to watch a film but the cleaner decided he had to clean our room now, so we got evicted. Had a funny moment though, while rushing back to the room in the pouring rain, Steven thought he would run through this small puddle which covered the whole path. As he put his foot in it turned out to be more like a lake. It came up to his ankles and he wasn't impressed! Off to the sports bar now for a drink and hope it stops raining so we can actually go by the pool or something! Love Stephanie and Steven xx
