Day 51-54 Well after a relaxing few days in Christchurch we are now back on the ferry to Wellington! We had a long drive yesterday which took us 8 hours including stops! Day 48-51 Well Dunedin is the most Christmassy place we have been so far! Woo hoo! We have had a chilled out few days here mooching round the town! There is a massive sweet shop which sells lion midget times and wine gums (anyone that knows me knows these are my favourite!!) jake also found English munchies!! We were made up!!! Day 46-48 Well canyoning was a laugh!!! Didn't realise how unbalanced and how little coordination I had until I spent most of the trip on my bum and fell over more times than anybody else! I think it was because the water was SO cold I couldn't physically put one foot in front of the other or use my hands for support! Day 43-46 We loved Wanaka!! It was a quaint little town with loads of little boutique shops, bars and restaurants which were surrounded by amazing views of the mountains and lake Wanaka, we spent most of our time here doing walks which included climbing mt iron - this wasn't particularly fun as it was just a mission uphill for about an hour! Day 39-43 On Wednesday we did a 10 mile walk around the Abel Tasman national park which was tiring but amazing! The views we're incredible and the walk was beautiful through the jungle opening out to lovely little beaches and water falls! There wasn't much to do in Kaiteriteri of a night but that didn't really matter as after all the walking we were ready for bed by 8:30pm!
