hey all, ok so in response to complaints from my evil big brother a. you're just jealous Jay and b. mum and dad read this page therefore no shenanigans or debauchery to be had for me!!!!! the last few days have been pretty cool on Friday we did a massive tour of the city which was really cool did the whole touristy thing with our real aussie guide in the shape of steve which was a good giggle, took oodles of pictures out by Mrs McQuaries chair and all round the harbour and stuff then went over to the rocks which is the oldest bit of sydney to a fab little pub that brewed its own special ales and stuff to watch the waratahs and hurricanes rugby which was really good cos the pub was heaving - got talkin to a very bizarre Scotsman who has obviously been affected by too much sun over here! after that we headed back over to the 'burbs to erin and steves place and headed out for a few more drinks and came across even more sun-addled Scots had a pretty good night tho! on Saturday headed down to the eastern beaches and to Bondi which in all honesty was a bit of a let down, full of snobby show offs and concrete high rises - more blackpool than blissful! after we headed to Newport to watch a couple of games of rugby have some beers and a barbie which was ace although the weather was pretty rubbish, felt sinilar to watching matches up at Macclesfield! that evening we had another barbie with some of steves mates which was really good fun involving chocolate fights and some crazy chicken-esque dancing!!!!! yesterday Lu and I wandered around sydney and then caught the ferry over to manly for some beach action which was fab then pretty much just crashed out completely last night. today we made an attempt at wedding shopping but aborted when we realised we simply couldnt be arsed!!! probably meeting up with amber tonight in King's Cross which is the gayist and most garish bit of sydney which should be a giggle!!! not sure when i'm heading up the coast but lu's leaving tomorrow and we're gonna meet up along the way somewhere toodles xxxxx
