Sunday 27th September - Thursday 1st October 2015
So we landed in Orlando, YAY!! We caught ourselves a cab as it was late and I couldn't be bothered to find anything else cheaper!
We made it to our hotel and crashed into the room! I managed to tell Andrew our room number so when he landed he could go straight to the room. It was so nice to see him after three weeks! I think it was the first time I managed to sleep properly!
We woke up pretty early and headed to our first Disney park, the magic kingdom!! I was like a kid at Christmas! We went on all the rides and theatre shows! Watched the parade that came through in the afternoon! We even found a few crocs in the water...no swimming here!! I even got Andrew to buy me another Tigger, who is slightly big and will have to go in my carry on luggage...!
We went to Animal Kingdom on the Monday as I've never been here before! The opening of the park all these parrots came flying out swooping pretty low to the crowds heads before landing on the perches to get their morning feed!
As soon as the gates open we headed to the safari as we knew this would get busy quick! It was a pretty cool safari, not as good as the real thing though! But we enjoyed going round the park with out 'guide' explaining all the animals we could see!
The highlight of my day, no correct week...we went on a 'rumble rapids' kind of ride, think we would get a little wet. Boy we were all wrong, going backwards down this slope I could see bad things happen...this tidal of a wave literally came over the top of Andrew and I and landed right on top of us. Alicia and I managed to have a few dry spots however Andrew was literally drenched through! It looked like he just got out of the shower!! It was amazing!
We saw the Lion King show, which was amusing, went to the hospital side of the park where they were about to perform a routine operation on a lion. There was way too many people to actually see anything so we carried on round the park. It was all in all a really good day!
Tuesday it was literally raining all day...! We headed to Universal Studios as we thought we would be inside most of the time due to it being the place to be for movies!!
We went on all the movie rides, my favourite was Star Wars and the Muppets! There was also a car chase stunt show which was awesome! They had an Indian Jones show which was hilarious too! We also queued up for the Toy Story ride which has to be the best ride there! A massive shoot up game! If the queue wasn't so big I would have gone again!!
Wednesday the weather was 10 times better so we went to Typhoon Lagoon! Couldn't ask for a more perfect day!! Andrew got pretty sun burnt...which I warned him but he wouldn't listen! It was an amazing day!
Thursday we had nothing planned, we were going to go to Hollywood Studios but getting there wasn't easy and it was super expensive. So instead we went and had pancakes at iHop as I wouldn't stop talking about how amazing they were, which it was amazing! We then went to play pirate mini golf, it was a pretty sweet course. Andrew launched his ball way over the fence...so much so that all three of us were way to short to even climb back over if we did try and fetch the ball. Alicia and I were in stitches all day about it! I swear to god it was so hot and humid...we were all starting to buckle from the heat and headed back to the hotel. I then proceeded to head to the pool to cool off!!
It was pretty sad that it was the end of Alicia's and I 'Sisters Tour USA' but I will certainly love to go again somewhere with her!! We'll have to get planning again!
