This one's for you, Erik! We took another train this evening from Bath to Pangbourne- where Erik spent three months working at the restaraunt and bar The Ferryboat Inn. Such a small town with one main street. We walked through the town and walked along the River Thames. He worked in the village of Wittchurch, which we found easily. It is a beautiful location right off the river, and a rowing school or something with all their boats in the water for the season. We went in to the Ferryboat Inn but by the time we got there they were done serving dinner. So instead, we ate at The Swan. The second and only other bar (practically) left in the city. This was also one that Erik worked at but advised us not to eat there. It was our only option left for dinner so we ate there anyways and it was by far the best meal we had eaten all trip!

We enjoyed being in Pangbourne for the night, reliving Erik's experience he had when he lived in London.
