Now I'm back in Melbourne! Had an amazing time in New Zealand - definitely struggled with the cold though! And being back in Melbourne hasn't really helped, it's freezing here and I've constantly had a runny nose and sneezing! God knows how I am going to cope back in the UK!

So my last few days in NZ were nice. I flew from Queenstown back up to Auckland. Most amazing, scenic flight I have ever been on. Was so ready to leave Queenstown, the party lifestyle with the Kiwi bus was pretty much killing me! So I got back to Auckland, planning to spend the day sightseeing as I hadn't actually spent much time in Auckland at all! But I was in a lot of pain after the flight. I'd had a cold the last few days of Queenstown (again) and when we were descending I couldn't equalise my ears and it was all just very painful. So I pretty much stayed at Marsil's flat, feeling sorry for myself!

The next day, I head to the Bay of Islands to stay with Weber and Aida (Brunei friends) their house was so lovely. Overlooking the bay. The weather was pretty good aswell. We went out fishing on Weber's boat. We didn't have much luck - but I did catch a Mackerel! We also collected cockels on a nearby deserted beach which was so much! I'd never eaten them, but later that night, Aida cooked them for dinner and they were delicious! Definitely going to be trying more seafood at home!

So since being in Melbourne, I've pretty much just chilled out. It's been nice. Sort of don't feel like I'm travelling anymore. I feel quite settled! Planning to meet a few people I met whilst travelling in the next week which will be nice and also some family friends who now live out here.

Something pretty cool I have done since being in Melbourne is visiting 'Ramsay Street' in Neighbours! Although, it is actually called 'Pin Oak Street' When I first got there, it just seemed like any old street, but I slowly began to recognise houses! The street looks SO much smaller in real life than it does on TV! Crazy. When I got back, I youtube-d neighbours episodes to refresh myself!! I mainly went to the street just to make Mum jealous!! But it was pretty cool to say I've been there! I even managed to go into 'Toady's' house - the one with the famous pool that they all spend a lot of their time in!! Well, used to , I don't really watch it anymore!

Anyway, the plan for the trip is to fly to Perth mid-May, work my way up the West Coast to Darwin, where one of my travelling friends will meet me. Then we're going to do Darwin, Arhnem Land, Uluru together and then I will fly across to Sydney and fly back to the UK on the 27th June, arriving home on the 28th :) It's all still a working progress though! So watch this space...!
