Last night Nic and I went to a Major League baseball game in Oakland. It was a pretty lack- lustre affair with the A's playing the Kansas City Royals. The royals won 5-2. As it was a midweek game with two teams that weren't going to be in pennant contention we got great seats at field level just past third base. After leaving Las Vegas we basically headed to San Diego which was very cool especially the zoo where I saw my first live Giant Panda - I could have sat there watching them all day!!! After this came the low lights of the trip (with the exception of Santa Barbara which was cool) as we moved up the coast to San Francisco.
