Hi

This is take 2 on writing this particular blog, i think the computer might have sun stroke. Anyways, alot has happened since my last blog, we do so much everyday it feels like iv been here forever - which is a good thing because Cambodia rocks. This place is the worlds best kept secret its so beautiful, friendly ppl who bend over backwards for u, great weather, even the thunderstorms, everything.

At the mo im in Sihanoukvill which is a beach town, but back in Siem Reap after i wrote we went to the floating village which was once again like stepping into their shoes and seeing how it all works and how they live, then we went to this cool little place with hammocks overlooking a vast stretch of land and watched the sun set and a far off storm - wow. It was also here that i tried snake! its ok doesnt taste off much except what they cook it in.

We left siem Reap and headed to a town near the island with the pagoda on it (temple) and hired bikes to cycle on the island. When we got there the monks asked if we could teach the kids some english, so we all ended up teaching them a little and holding a class. It was so cool to see their faces light up when they got it right - the kids here are so clever and witty - they try to sell u stuff all the time and they are smarter than most car sales men!

Next stop was our homestay in the forrest, on the way there a terrantular was put on Claires sholder by one of the Cambo kids at the rest stop so obviously we all screamed but i ended up holding it, my hands were shaking tho! The same day i ate a terrantular leg, haha!

The home stay was awsome, we stayed with a huge family with 7 kids and 3 grandkids and had a chat with them, they found it hard to believe we wernt married and could go off around the world like that! their culture is so different and the way they live too, but i was shocked at how we all adapted to it so fast. I actually prefer the hole in the ground toilets now cos its easier to squat over them, haha!

The next day we hiked up a small mountain to a waterfall and then climbed up that one to get to an even bigger one. We had a swim which was so refreshing and it was stunning with tiny rainbows everywhere u looked.

Then we travelled here and its nice to be relaxing by the beach which is beautiful, we went on an island cruise today and snorkelled around some reefs, had a bbq and then fished off the back of the boat (i didnt catch anything).
